Teenager rescued following fall in Gordons Bay

A 15-year-old was rescued from the rocks by specialist paramedics, police rescue and lifeguards following a fall in Gordons Bay this afternoon.

The young woman fell a short distance from rocks and struck her head. Her friends contacted emergency services at around 2.45pm.

She was assessed and stabilised by intensive care paramedics and was able to be assisted by Lifeguards who took her by Jet ski to Clovelly Beach.

She was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
