At around 3.45am fire crews across the Eastern Suburbs responded to a house fire on Bondi Rd, Bondi Junction. Fire fighters from Woollahra were first to arrive and called for additional assistance.
At around 4.00am police and paramedics responded to a male in a critical condition with a suspected gunshot wound. It's understood a man in his thirties was found unconscious in a car with severe bleeding in Pemberton St Botany. Police were first on scene and commenced resuscitation.

Power has been cut to a number of homes after a large tree came crashing down on Edgecliff Rd in Woollahra this evening. The incident happened at around 10.00pm with residents reporting a power arc outside their home.
A 40-year-old man is in hospital and another being questioned after an incident involving two males in Bondi at 4.50pm this evening. It's understood a man was hit in the face causing him to fall backwards and impact his head on the ground.
At around 10.45pm emergency services responded to a call for assistance after a 25-year-old man fell down a flight of stairs in O'Donnell St, North Bondi. It's understood the male had fallen 5 metres landing on his head and back. General duties and intensive care paramedics were tasked to assist with patient treatment with police assisting with investigations & scene safety.
