Man in serious condition following stabbing in Matraville

Just before 11.30pm yesterday (Monday 4 December 2023), emergency services were called to Beauchamp Road, Matraville, after reports of a stabbing.

Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command attended alongside NSW Ambulance paramedics, who treated a 30-year-old man for multiple injuries.

He was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney in a serious but stable condition.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation has commenced into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
