Builder falls off construction site in Bondi

A builder has survived a long fall from a construction site in Bondi this afternoon.

At around 1.00pm emergency services responded to an address in Simpson St after a man fell approximately 8 metres.

NSW Ambulance dispatched numerous paramedics as well as a helicopter medical team.

The man was assessed and stabilised on scene prior to being transported in a stable condition.

The specialist medical team was called off prior to their arrival.

Detectives from NSW Police are investigating the workplace incident, however it's understood the cause is accidental.
